The Clyde Bergemann Jet Blower is a unit designed specifically for dual medium cleaning, utilizing a different style lance than the RKTT described above. The jet blower does not have an offset lance but utilizes a straight line (non rotating) lance with only one set of nozzles. The basic principle is the same, clean with steam or air while the boiler is online and then switch to high pressure water during a shutdown.
A gauge panel is included on the unit for local reading of the cleaning media as well as pressure switches for local indications that can be transmitted to the controlling PLC. All other great features of the Clyde Bergemann retractable sootblower line are shared here as well.
