The SmartClean™ platform has been developed in response to the demand for improving the boiler cleaning process. While conventional sootblower control systems are designed to merely operate sootblowers on a fixed cycle time basis, providing indiscriminate cleaning as part of a sootblowing sequence when operated, a SmartClean™ system with intelligence is designed to respond to the heat transfer area and local cleaning requirements.
